The Psyche Series is a set of works in which I explore certain states of the human psyche in an allegorical key. In the case of this work, satisfaction is a deep feeling of fulfillment and contentment that results from having achieved something significant or desired. It is a state in which we feel at peace with our actions and their results, a testimony of effort and dedication. The work attempts to explore that state of internal peace and harmony of the psyche that occurs at the moment of satisfaction. The allegorical key, as in the other works of the series, attempts to open the work in order to get the viewer's psyche to connect with the state represented in this work. The feeling of satisfaction is very important in our psychological development, as it is a reminder of our capabilities and resilience. Satisfaction motivates us to move forward, to set new goals and to work towards them with determination. It is fuel for the soul that drives us to grow and improve continuously. It is for these reasons that I have wanted to address it in a work that is iconographically closely linked to this one and that belongs to the same series "Allegory of Pleasure". The iconographic similarity in both works is not a coincidence, but rather they are intended to constitute a continuity between both.
