Literature series

Of the books that you read, many characters or passages of the same ones have stuck in my memory, sometimes for different reasons. Those stories of the books have marked my life in such a way, that I can draw analogies between many of the things that happened to me later and certain passages of the books. I think one usually appropriates characters or scenes for personal reasons, or sometimes records them in certain moments that one experiences as part of one's own story. This is how my life was tied to some literary works. These characters or scenes can reveal numerous meanings. Because the author uses it within a specific story and context, which conforms to his work. But as the shadow is always open, and the spectator; or in this case the reader has the ability to understand the meaning of the story with his own interpretation and personal subjectivity, we can confirm that the work transcends its own limitations and requires meanings that go much further than the work and thoughts of the writer. I believe in this point, that personal subjectivity is the most effective disparator of a new dimension of meanings that are infinite in an infinite way, after the story is planted on a page of a book. I know that my own interpretations, I admit, of many of the characters who for one reason or another stood out in my memory. And so, as I stated further, that all these stories were entering into relationships with my own story, thus making me, in some way, a participant in those lines of a master work. Text and reader, form a double in my head, which intermingle meanings and meanings that acquire new dimensions in the way that reading, and also the insights of life, advance. The literature series, in my case, involves characters and situations that relate to this situation in one way or another. The board, above all, is in plastic language, which has even greater scope for interpretation, due to the specific characteristics of the language. However, through these paintings I have also learned to change the stories written by different authors, and explore terrains of new meanings, different plots, unexpected endings, or things that relate to my personal life or those of others that rodean me. Approaching literature as a reader, but realizing artistic reinterpretation and resignification brings the work to a dimension that transcends the original work, and generates new lines and stages of thought.
